The bees disappear into the bells of the bright pink Foxglove and are busy in the Marsh Woundwort.  The glow of the Oxeye Daisy is captivating too, and catches the eye of the Golden-Ringed Dragonfly, which after darting this way and that stops to settle for a while.  Underfoot the Bird’s-Foot Trefoil, or the evocative common named Granny’s Toenails!

'Down the Field'  has been a year long project depicting the seasonal and monthly changes in the flora and fauna, inspired by my daily morning walk with Dotty.  There is a strong nod to the Arts and Crafts Movement in their design, which is echoed in the framing.

Framing - Beautifully framed in a high end moulding with deep bevel mount and Art Glass, which reduces reflection but also shows the colours as their true hue.
